Before we began creating our social media campaigns we had to think of a band name and album name. We discovered what our band name was going to be throughout our filming process but we were stuck on the album name and we were debating whether we would use the song 'Where is my Head?' or create our own name. Throughout the process of beginning the social media campaigns, digipak, and editing the actual music video, we decided our album name is going to be Headache. Both our band name and album name work together and coincide with our track list.
As Millie and I were both designated the roles of making and organising the social media, we both decided to share the social media platforms which we have chosen and both work on these together. We decided that I am going to begin with activating the Twitter account and Millie is going to begin with activating the Instagram account.
In organisation of our social media we are going to arrange a meeting with our production cast and do a photoshoot with them, we will further consider props and costumes which will be needed for this shoot.
I got in contact with our production group cast and asked them what days they are free to complete a shoot. We decided to complete our shoot on Thursday from 3-6, we are going to go into Cranleigh and further take photographs of our band around this area.
We are further going to create a timeline for both our social media campaigns of each platform. This will allow us to be organised and know what we are posting and when to make it look like a real social media campaign for a real band. We are going to use previous research which we have completed and use this to influence our timeline.
This is the timeline which I created for our Instagram social media campaign:
