Social Media Strategies

Social media campaigns and how to make them successful?

Key principles:

- Engagement: You know the audience will be interested in it and you know it will attract your audience to approach the social media account, for example memes, pictures, funny clips, funny videos, anything that will catch their eye and it doesn't need to necessarily be funny, it can be something the audience may relate to or think is cool.

- Storytelling: Show the audience the behind the scenes and the artists journey to where they are now and how they became a big, successful and well known artist. This could be clips of them in a music recording studio, behind the scenes for the making of the music video or anything that can portray their journey.

- Promotion: Do not focus on promotion and selling items as no one is interested in that. But it may form a small part of the social media output and this means audiences will be much more likely to be interested and get involved with what you want them to do.

Another crucial and critical part of social media is caption boxes. An audience will always be interested and want to read captions on posts. It is a great place to provide context and explain what your showing or promoting. Also trying to engage and involve the audience in whatever you are posting makes them feel more included in the journey, this can be putting a question in a caption or replying to a few comments.
