We are going to be focusing on the VHS performance as this is the only element which is not an actual performance of the band performing. We need to direct the performers with what they need to do throughout this section as the band members will not be playing their instruments therefore they have to do something else as they cannot just stand around the set doing nothing. We need to think of different things in which these band members can do throughout this element of the video.
Our target as a group is to find at least 20 things in which the band can do with the VHS effect (non lip sync element).
This is a list of the different things we have found which these band members can do throughout this section:
- Redecorating the basement with skateboards, posters, and moving around the set up.
- Camera zooms in on one of the band members face and make silly faces and mess around towards the camera.
- One member picking up another member (physically playing around and portraying their relationship/friendship)
- Lying on the sofa playing video games.
- Rolling a cigarette and smoking it.
- George headlock Flexi while on the sofa.
- Opening beers
- Someone lying on the floor another person pouring beer into their mouth.
- One band member puts feet on drum kit and dummer kicks them off.
- Empty drink cans and crisp packets cover the table and one band member swipes them all off and sits on the sofa and puts his feet up.
- Shotgunning beer.
