Meeting with our production cast

As a production group we all met up and discussed what we will be doing in our test shoot and we went through our timeline and explained to our cast (George R, George A, Felix and Molly) the VHS effect and what they will be doing when the VHS effect is happening. We also discussed what they would need to wear for our test shoot and what they would need to bring in (instruments). Molly is bringing in a guitar and bass guitar for Felix and herself, and George R is bringing in drumsticks as the school provides a drum kit. We made it clear to our cast that they need to wear clothes which emphasise the 90s and create a 90s pop rock band vibe as this is the scene and atmosphere in which we are hoping to create, therefore we suggested to our members to wear trousers with graphic t-shirts and a jacket, which they may not wear due to heat and the lights we will be using.

By having this meeting with our chosen cast it has enabled us to get a sense of who everyone is and how they are and their energy. This meeting further enabled us as a group to be organised and know what we are doing. By meeting as a group and discussing our timeline and going through the plan of our test shoot, enabled us to all be on the same page and know what we are doing, when we are doing it and how. This further links to organisation and us as a production group being organised.
